Ercros was founded on 30 June 1989 for an indefinite period as the result of Uni髇 Explosivos R韔 Tinto, S.A. (ERT) being taken over by Sociedad An髇ima Cros.
Ercros' corporate capital stands at 84.21 million euros represented by 223.91 million ordinary bearer shares listed on the Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Valencia stock exchanges.
Shareholdings in Ercros is as follows: Grupo Torras held 8.7%, Mesa Redonda 6.7%, Catalana d'Iniciatives 4.1% and the remaining 80.5% was divided among smaller shareholders via the stock market.
The company has no record of any other shareholder with more than a 5% stake
