Labochim - Laboratorio Chimico Internazionale SpA

Laboratorio Chimico Internazionale S.p.A. (Labochim), was founded in 1966 by the Cardoso family and it is engaged in the production of bulk APIs and Intermediates for the pharmaceutical, nutritional and healthcare industries. The plant is located in Segrate, a small town close to Milan and covers an area of over 11.000 square meters. The U.S. FDA has regularly inspected the plant since 1978. The facility wholly complies with current Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP).

Dedicated production lines and backward integration from the initial steps of a synthesis, as well as a constant commitment to quality and intensive R&D activity, have granted an interesting growth rate to this company. Our mission has always been driven by particular attention to environmental protection.

In the recent years, Labochim is also strengthening its position in the Nutritional and Cosmetic fields, thanks to the introduction of " nutraceuticals" and "cosmeceuticals" products, and its co-operation with the most important companies in this sector.

Labochim is a member of the Italian Industrial Association (Confindustria) and is present as founder and member of the board of Aschimfarma, the Association of the Italian producers of Active Principles for the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Today, the Company is a compact manager-led organization headed by Dr Daniele Cardoso - President, and Dr Annibale Salvi - Managing Director.
