Established in 1984 as an Israeli-American joint venture and is now a subsidiary of LycoRed, a member of the Koor group of companies. Koor has an aggregate turnover of US$ 4 billion. Biodar specializes in microencapsulation of ultra small crystals and powders. The coated materials are widely used in the food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical areas.
The company operates a 2,200 square meter modern facility. It includes State of the Art microencapsulation equipment for large scale production, together with a small pilot plant. All development and analytical work is done in Biodar's own laboratory. Quality control and quality assurance are strictly maintained to the highest standards.
