Losan Pharma

The company, Losan Pharma GmbH, established under the direction of Dr. Peter Sandmeier in 1993, has had a remarkable beginning. Today 200 workers produce over 1000 batches and over 10 mil. packages per year for both clients within Germany and throughout the world. Further, positive development is expected - an expansion of the production area is planned. Apart from flexibility and swiftness, the most modern equipment and laboratories distinguish Losan Pharma's constant search for innovations. Our specialities are the development and manufacture of improved generics, "Generics Plus."

Losan Pharma develops "Generics Plus" (innovative dosage forms for generic molecules) for you in our modern laboratories. Due to the galenic form of the effervescent tablet, higher blood levels, improved stomach-tolerance, higher doses, and more stabile preparations can be achieved. Our products include effervescent tablets, chewable and coated tablets, controlled-release retard tablets, diffusion pellets, hard gelatine capsules as well as granulates. Losan has applied a number of patents for these technologies. The modern production and packaging facilities conform to GMP-regulations and fulfil the highest quality requirements.
