Zhejiang Xianju Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. was established in 1972. It is a state-designated manufacturer of steroid hormones and family planning drugs, a key high-tech enterprise of National Torch Plan, a Contract and Credit Oriented Enterprise, and an Excellent Innovative Unit of Zhejiang Province. The company has a total asset of 850 million RMB, with a total capital of 256 million RMB. It covers an area of 337,607m.Currently, there are 1,795 employees, among whom 30% are technicians, and 36% are sales. It is a manufacture of APl and drug products.

It mainly produces corticoid and sex hormones (progesterone, estrogen and androgen). At present, there are more than 100 varieties. It has a production capacity of 200 tons APl, 7 billion tablets, 500 million capsules, 200 million aqua injections, 10 million lyophilized powder injections, 10 million creams, and 10 million packets of granules.

The company has established long-term cooperation relation with more than 20 famous domestic and international scientific research institutes, including Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academy of Military Medical Science (AMMS), Chinese academy of Medical Sciences etc. Besides, it has invested to establish Zhejiang Xianju Pharmaceutical Technology Co.,Ltd. In recent years, it has successfully developed more than 20 kinds of high-tech drugs, and achieved almost 10 scientific research results, among which 8 products are breakthroughs. ZXH951, a new anti-early pregnancy class 1 drug, is listed into the National 863 plan. Hanzhuting (Mifepristone tablet), an anti-early pregnancy drug and Xianlin (Vecuronium Bromide for injection), a kind of muscle relaxant are both Zhejiang Famous Brand Products. Vecuronium Bromide was approved by U.S. FDA. Prednisolone was granted COS and South Korea KFDA certificate. All products have passed by SFDA according to China GMR

Currently, Xianju Pharma has controlled and invested in 8 enterprises, including Zhejiang Xianju Pharmaceutical Trading Co.,Ltd In order to realize scale operation, the company has expropriated a land of 254119m2 in Zhejiang Southeast Chemical Zone and New District of Xianju Industry Zone as manufacturing base of new APIs. In the next five years, based on comparative advantage, Xianju Pharma will strive for continuous innovation, improve investing bodies and structure, expand production and operation scale, hence to form a large-scale medicine group enterprise which integrates medicine production, sales and medical treatment service.
