VBC-Genomics
Our company started by applying oligo-nucleotide chemistry, sequencing technology and reverse genetics to provide fast and cost effective genomic services to the scientific community. Since then, our business has evolved from the provision of fee-for-service genomic research to encompass Complete Genomic Solutions including Bioinformatics and BioChip-Technology in innovative combinations (IGS) to meet the existing and emerging needs of customers throughout the broader life science industry. During this transformation, VBC-GENOMICS has filed and implemented seven PCT/USA patents (May 2003) in the field of RNA/DNA- Diagnostics and in both areas of BioChip-Technology, Genomics and Proteomics.

VBC-GENOMICS ultimate goal is to become the premier route to the acquisition and full exploitation of biological, chemical and medical knowledge for Life Science and Healthcare Community. Based on our IP in Genomics, SNP-Chips (FemSensor-Core / AndroSensor / FemSensor-Pregnancy) detecting clinical relevant genetic variations are currently under final development or already launched and marketed (FemSensor-Core) by our subsidiary GENOSENSE Diagnostics GmbH, founded in July 2001.
