    Ameron manufactures and markets a broad line of proprietary high-performance coatings, flooring and surfacing systems, protective and decorative coatings for steel and concrete, commercial and industrial equipment and manufactured goods. Ameron's coatings products are used throughout the world in such diverse industries as marine, oil and gas production, refining, petrochemical processing, fossil and nuclear power, infrastructure maintenance, railroad, general manufacturing, pulp and paper, and municipal water and waste treatment.

    Ameron has been a pioneer not only in coatings performance, but also in the important area of environmental protection. At a time when most coatings companies offered only highly-solvented industrial products, Ameron began introducing low-solvent, solvent-free, high-solids and waterborne products that reduced the possibility of pollution and provided an extra measure of worker safety while still delivering the high levels of protection and performance demanded by the marketplace. The majority of Ameron coatings are now "environmentally designed", a fact that is contributing to the Company's success as international environmental regulations become increasingly strict.
