  To increase peanut’s output, besides taking new species, fertilizer’s scientific application is more important, as it could increase the output 10%-30% higher. Peanut has large demand to elements like N (nitrogen), P(phosphorus), K(potassium), and Ca(calcium), and it’s also sensitive to Mg(magnesium), S(sulfur), and Mo(molybdenum): peanut would have low protein content when lacking in S; without enough Mg elements, leaves won’t be green for less chlorophyll existing; when Mo element is short, peanut’s chlorophyll becomes aging, and both quantity of root nodule and branch is reduced.

  Fertilizer should be scientifically applied according to soil’s need by testing.
