  Calcium chloride for industrial use

  Features:colorless cubic crystal. white or white porous or grain, honeycomb. Odorless, slightly bitter taste. Relative density of 2.15(25℃). melting point of 782℃, boiling point of 1600℃. strong moisture absorption. It is easy to deliquescent in the air. Easy to soluble in water and at the same time release lots of heat. It's water solution is slight acidity. soluble with alcohol, acetone and vinegar. React with ammonia and alcohol to produce CaCl₂•8NH₃ & CaCl₂•4C₂H₅OH. Under the common temperature, crystal to produce Hexahydrate. add heat to 30℃ and it is soluble with self crystal water. Continuously add heat, lose water, to 200℃ become dihydrate. Add heat to 260℃ it becomes water porous calcium chloride,anhydrous.

  Use: Used in highway, expressway, parking lot and port. As dryer to dry nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide. Act as dehydration agent when producing alcohol, ester, aether and acrylic acid. Calcium chloride is a kind of important cryogen used by freezing machine and when making ice. It can speed hardness of concrete and increase cold resistance ability of construction sand pulp. In port, act as fog removing agent and dust collecting agent on road and fireproof agent of textile. Protective agent and refining agent of aluminum magnesium metallurgy. Act as precipitator in producing lake paint. It is a kind of raw material of producing calcium salt. In algae sodium and bean industry it acts as flocculant.
