  Product properties and advantages
  White powder or opaque monoclinic system fine crystal. Relative density is 2.159, odorless, salty, soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is slightly alkaline for hydrolysis. Easy to be resolved when heated and release carbon dioxide. No change in dry air and slowly resolved in moist air.
  Applicable scope
  Sodium bicarbonate is used as leavening agent in food industry, CO2 generating agent in soda and cold drinks, butter preservative, raw material of pharmacy industry to treat hyperacidity, tanning, film production, beneficiation, metallurgy, metal heat treatment, fiber, rubber and many industries. It is also used as wool detergent, foamite and in agriculture soaking seed. It is one of the most widely used leavening agent in food industry, It is used to produce biscuit, cake, steamed bun, bread, etc. It is CO2 generating agent in soda drinks; alkaline baking powder compounded with alums; civil crystal soda compounded with soda ash; butter preservative, soda acid extinguisher and foamite in fire protection. It is applied in the production of rubber and sponge for the uniform pore-forming effect with alums and H pore-forming agent. It is fluxing agent in metallurgy industry, molding auxiliary in mechanical industry, color fixing agent, acid-base buffer and after treatment agent in dye industry and raw material of acid agent in pharmaceutical industry.
