==============================================================================
In terms of applications, 1-naphthylamine is mainly used as a dye intermediate for the production of direct dyes, acid dyes, ice dyes, and dispersion dyes; At the same time, it is the main raw material for various rubber anti-aging agents, and its derivative 1-naphthol plays an important role in pesticide synthesis, such as as as an intermediate for carbapenem. In addition, it can be used as an analytical reagent, fluorescent indicator, and gas chromatography stationary phase, and participates in organic synthesis processes

Production method: 1. Preparation of intermediate product 1-naphthalenedione oxime (α - naphthylacetoxime). 1-Naphthalenedione (200g, 1.18mol), hydroxylamine hydrochloride (83g, 1.2mol), and sodium acetate (98g, 1.2mol) were dissolved in 300mL ethanol and 90mL water, heated at 50 ℃ for 20 minutes, cooled to room temperature, filtered, washed with water, and dried to obtain 215g of white solid with a yield of 99%. Melting point: 150-152 ℃. 2. Preparation of intermediate product 1-acetylnaphthylamine (α - acetylnaphthylamine): 500mL of polyphosphoric acid was poured into a 2000mL beaker. Under mechanical stirring, 1-naphthalenedione oxime (185g, 1mol) was added in batches to the reaction solution. After adding 1-naphthalenedione oxime, the reaction temperature was raised to 70 ℃. After reacting at this temperature for 2 hours, the mixture was poured into 3000 mL of water to obtain a white precipitate. The precipitate was filtered, washed with 1000 mL of water, and dried to obtain 185 g of white solid with a yield of 100%. 3. The preparation of the target product α - naphthylamine (1-naphthylamine) involves dissolving 1-acetylnaphthylamine (185g, 1mol) in 200mL ethanol and 80mL concentrated hydrochloric acid, heating and refluxing for 1 hour, and then cooling to room temperature. The solution was adjusted to alkaline (pH>7) with 6M NaOH to obtain a white precipitate. After filtration, the precipitate was washed with 1000mL of water and dried to obtain 143g of pink solid with a yield of 100%. The pink solid was recrystallized using 200mL of toluene petroleum ether mixed solvent (1:1) to obtain a white solid of alpha naphthylamine, 136g, with a yield of 95%.
