6. Physical & chemical properties:
White granulated crystals.Relative density:1.803(19°C).Melting Point: 190°C. .It is easy to soluble in water,soluble in alcohol ,do not soluble in acetone.It is rather stable in the air, a small part will decompostion when heated to 100°C.When the temperature is higher than the melting point ,it will Lost ammonia and water generate partial mixture of ammonium metaphosphate and phosphoric acid. Aqueous acid. (1% solution at PH = 7.8-8.2)
7, Application:
(1) Material of high grade effective fertilizer;
(2) Good inflaming retarding and extinguishing material, used as inflaming retarding additive for wood, paper & textiles, as powder extinguishing agent ;
(3) As material for production of fire retardant ammonium polyphosphate(APP).
8. Types of DAP-diammonium phosphate.
1) DAP-diammonium phosphate, N-P-K:21-53-0. Crystal powder, mainly as material of liquid fertilizer , industrial use, material for production of APP-ammonium polyphosphate.
