Product description:
I. Brief introduction
PAC is a high molecular weight water-soluble polymer, high degree of substitution, good homogeneity of substitution and high clarity characters etc.. PAC is used as additive for drilling fluid that effectively enhance viscosity , reduce filtration and inhibit dispersion of cuttings. When used as main treatment agent in mud, it can optimize the properties of the mud system .
II. Properties
1. PAC is easy to dissolve in water and has good dispersion performance which can form clearing colloid solution with high hyperviscosity and shearing force either used in fresh water, salt water or saturated salt-water drilling fluid. Due to its satisfactory performance, the colloid solution is assigned with good deflocculation ability and keeps its structure well, which can promote the formation of high quality mud cake and consumedly improve drilling rate efficiently.

3. Good inhibitive capability of hydration and swelling of the clay solid and wellbore controllability: PAC can pack the cuttings and the clay solid thoroughly due to its spread molecule chain and well adsorb ability. Likewise, with good filtration reduction capacity, PAC effectively inhibits the dehydration and swelling of the clay solid and consumedly delays the dispersion time of the dehydration and swelling of the clay solid.
4. Good salt /gypsum contamination resistance: The solids content in the procedure of recycling is raised up, and the quality of mud colloid is bad due to the dispersion of bulk diluter in mud. Although having good rheology, the shortcoming of the mud is very apparent: first, the mud cake is soft and thick, which easily to result in differential pressure sticking; second, the mud is not tolerance salt and gypsum that cause the yield point and gel strengths of mud rise up largely. Due to the little influence of the diluter on the PAC colloid, so when PAC is added into the abovementioned mud, the shearing force of the mud can maintain stable even the high solids content mud is polluted by salt and gypsum.
5. Good high temperature resistance: According to the comparative experiment, PAC is better than CMC in salt /temperature resistance, filtration reduction and maintenance cycle. PAC can be normally employed at the temperature of 120-130 oC. The period of batching cycle of PAC is 1-fold longer that of CMC.
6. When used as well mud cleanup agent, PAC can resistant contaminations of many water-soluble salts.
7. PAC can regulate the performance of mud that makes PAC is widely used in intricately layer such as salt-gypum bed and difficult drilling conditions such as ocean and desert.
8. PAC can shorten drilling period, enhance the equipments utilization rate, cut down or avoid sticking .
9. Though the unit cost price is higher than CMC, PAC has much better mud making ability in fresh water, salt water or saturated salt-water which lower the entirely cost.
10. The recommended dosages is 0.5%-1.0%.
