Property:White powder or colorless crystal.Odorless or tasteless. There are two crystals, one is the orthogonal crystal aragonite, one is hexagonal rhombohedral calcite crystals.At 825℃ can be decomposed into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide.Soluble in acide, nearly insoluble in water. Aragonite:relative density: 2.83,melting point:825℃. Aalcite:relative density:(d25.2)2.711, melting point:1339℃(10.39MPa).Irritating odor.
