Processing Instructions
1)The right amount of antioxidants, stabilizer, lubricants, processing agent, etc, could be added according to the performance requirements of the final application.
2) An twin-screw extruder, especially co-rotating twin-srew extruder is recommended for compounding and pelletizing. The temperature profile should be adjusted at 180-210oC. With the good thermal stability, the processing temperature could be higher if required.
3) The flame retardant SD-1101 should be kept dry during processing. In case of being affected by damp, it is necessary to pre-dry under 80-100oC for 2-6 hours.
4) The careful evaluation is needed before the environment-friendly non-halogen flame retardant SD-1101 will be mixed with other additives.

3. Processing
SD-1101 was pre-dried in the vacuum oven at 60oC for 4 hours.
Compounding and pelletizing in the Φ20 Twin-Screw Extruder, with the temperature profile: 170, 175, 180, 185, 180, 175oC.
With granules pre-dried at 80oC for two hours, injection molding with the temperature profile: 200, 200, 200, 190, 170oC.
