Product description:
Mextral 272P is an organophosphorus extractant with the active ingredient of Bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl) phosphinic acid. It is completely soluble in common aliphatic and aromatic diluents and is stable to heat and hydrolysis. Its advantages include good extraction performance, high selectivity, low water solubility and easy to be stripped, etc. It is widely used for separation of cobalt from nickel from both sulfate and chloride media, and is widely used by most of the cobalt production plants around the world, it can also be used for the separation of rare earths.
