Product description:
Ferrous Chloride liquid is a concentrated mineral acid crystal ranging from 25-35% ferrous chloride. The empirical formula is Fe2+ + 2Cl-.
Ferrous Chloride Crystal is an excellent source of Fe2+ ions where the application calls for an oxidizable inorganic metal salt. The applications where Ferrous Chloride Crystal is often the product of choice are:
Municipal and Industrial Wastewater Treatment
- Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) gas and odor reduction
- Phosphate removal in aerobic wastewater treatment systems
BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) and TOC (Total Organic Carbon) removal in aerobic wastewater treatment systems
Note: Ferrous Chloride does not provide traditional coagulating functions.
