2. Property
White or yellowish crystal axialite, cool, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol ethylenediamine, glycerol etc; easy to absorb moisture; has extremely strong oxidising power; when mixed with phosphorus, sulphur and organic matter, it is easy to burn or explode; it is toxic!
3. Use
Mainly used in the manufacture of chlorine dioxide, Sodium chlorite, perchlorate etc. or in herbicides, oxidants, papaer making etc.
4. Packing
In iron drum lined with plastic bag or in woven bag coated with plastics; net weight 50kg, or upon clients' request.
Should be stored in cool, airy and dry place, avoid moisture, no mixing with saccharide, oils, sulphur, red phosphorus, reducing agent, nitrate, acids etc., avoid impact or friction.
5. Toxicity and preventive meausures
It is irritant to skin, mucous membrane and eyes; if contact these parts, wash them with large amount of clean water immediately; if taken orally by mistake, pls. take saline solution or warm soap water immediately and then spit out and see the doctor. LD is 10g.
