Pure compound crystallizes in leaf from water or in flake from carbon disulfide. Melting point: 123-124℃, boiling point:295℃, specific gravity:1.28/20℃. Easily sublimes and soluble in alcohol, ether and solution of caustic alkali, hardly soluble in aqueous solution of sodium carbonate and ammonia spirit.
